I believe that a person’s life path can be determined before they were born, or it may not be. I used to believe that it is entirely the person’s choice to choose their life path, but recently I realized that sometimes, a person’s life path cannot be changed. For example, the women in Muslim and such countries, has their fate led out to them the day they were born. Because they were girls, they had no rights, they could not do what they wanted, instead they get married early, endure beatings from their husband, and they have the least right in the house. So sometimes, I believe, in certain circumstances, a person’s life path cannot be changed. However, on the other hand, if you were born into a better environment, you may be able to change and choose your own path. In democratic countries like Canada, children have the freedom to choose what they want to do in the future. And in some circumstances, I think a man, like in the video clip for example; can change his stars as the clip suggests. As long as they try their hardest, even when they meet obstacles, I believe it is possible to accomplish their goals as long they don’t give up.
Interesting idea - you suggest that people may be limited by their environments and give examples of specific geographic locations and present day political climates where this occurs. So despite your comment about hard work, you seem to suggest that the space and time a person is born in is limiting.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Muslim is not a country but it is a religion. I think that your seventh line could be the beginning of a new paragraph. Also I think that your opening sentence could be better instaed of stating the question that you have to response to . In whole it was a good piece of writing.
