Response to Manjot's Big A (since i cant seem to comment on his post)

I liked how you provided examples relating to God, but there are a few points that I do not understand. I have encountered many Christians that do not think that god has chosen their paths, so I don’t think that it really depends on god. Rather than that, I think it really depends on yourself of what you believe in, and how hard you try. And I have no idea how we, scientifically, would know that our lives were written before we were born! Although, I agree that in some cases, it does depend on your parents, and what they want you to do. But I have also seen numerous cases that people foolow and accomplish their own dreams rather than following what their parents want them to do. I also personally do not think you can predict your future. You can only dream about it, and try hard to accomplish it. Sometimes, even if you predict what you want to do in the future, but do not try to accomplish it, at last, you will not achieve that goal! And in some other cases, people change their thoughts about what to do in the future. :)

  1. Content of this comment is pretty good. I like that you chose to disagree with another post. You mention that you can think of "numerous cases" but then do not give any specific examples to support your arguement. Specifics give "meat" / validity to your general comments so it is good to add them.

Even though we are writing on a blog try to remember to watch your paragraphing - one main idea each. Separating your ideas here may help you see where your arguments could be supported more thoroughly. For example, if you were writing a speech or essay you would follow up your general statements with specifics examples or more logical reasoning. Remember to do this on your blog posts / comments too.
